I’m participating in InkTober this year. Jake Parker created InkTober in 2009 “as a challenge to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.” Learn more and see the official InkTober prompts here. It starts Saturday, October 1st!
There is something about fall and Halloween that really inspires me – as you can see from last year’s sketchbook above. For me, InkTober is just some extra motivation. I’m back in a creating groove, which makes me really happy. Anyone else participating? 🙂
I am thinking about it. I am not good with prompts plus I draw each day without them. However, I do remember the excitement in all the posts last year. So it has me thinking!! Look forward to seeing your posts!
Carmel,
I’m not sure I’ll follow the prompts. I’m hoping I’ll be able to do everyday 😬. Let me know if you do it too!
I am still deciding. The day is not over yet 🙂
Fun! Looking forward to seeing what you create!
Thanks Carol!
Hmmm, maybe I will! You inspired me!
Sounds like fun! I remember all your FUNTASTIC posts last year, Eileen! I probably can’t do every day but maybe once a week. 😍💕🎃
Thanks Jill! I know every day is hard. 😬
Oooohhh….love the Halloween theme. Glad your mojo has come back! 🙂
Thanks! 🎃
Well Eileen, I came late to this post really afterword, but yes I did participated to InkTober and I loved it! I created and developed a character that will keep developing more and more during her adventures. I was happy I made my 31 drawings in 31 days following Jake Parker prompt list! Keep up with the drawings now that Inktober is over 😉
That’s great! It really gets the ball rolling working everyday doesn’t it. I’m doing World Watercolor group’s November prompts now and plan on my own stuff for December. Thanks for checking in! 😀
Yes it does and is great! I have seen that you re doing November WWG prompts Charlie always has good ideas! 😉
