I keep a sketchbook in my beach bag and try to pull it out while we are at the beach. I wish people would stop moving! – lol. Last week I realized I’d forgotten a pencil. So, I snapped a couple of photos of people by the shore. When I got home I sketched them. They were easier to draw – since they were staying still. 🙂

This is seriously so wonderful! I am terrible at drawing the human figure, so it is beautiful to see people who actually can!
Thank you! I appreciate it. 🙂 I’m trying to spend time practicing.
I was never a fan of painting/sketching on the spot. I tried, but… it didn’t go well so I too take pictures (all the time) 🙂
I feel the same! People move too much. I need time to work it out. And I’m a little shy out in the open sketching!
I would love it if you made your post images bigger!
what pixel width do you use?
I’m really lovin that sun hat! I feel like it should be bright red or stripped! What color was it?
I hate to disappoint, but I think it was a neutral – beige or something! lol
