I’m looking forward to our local pool opening and swim team practice starting. Practice is early morning before the pool is open to the public. It’s pretty quiet while the kids are practicing. I usually sit and read. I’m a little shy about painting in front of others, but it would be the perfect time to sit and paint, with inspiration all around! So, you may be seeing less flowers and more blue in the coming weeks!

I love these blue water, kids in the pool watercolors! They take me back to the summers I used to enjoy as a kid. The pool was THE place. I was at the Elk’s Club pool every single day pretty much with my gal pals. Rode horses in the morning and evenings, went swimming in the afternoon! I needed this post this morning… 🙂

Aww! Im so glad! I would have loved being near horses, but i can’t complain since i grew up down the block from the beach. 🙂
