Since I bought this sketchbook I’ve been busy filling it! I love the heavy paper. It works so well with watercolor. If you follow me on Instagram (@mycreativeresolution), you’ve probably seen some of these illustrations. Lately I’ve been posting everyday which helps keep me motivated. I setup my sketchbook and paints in the morning. Throughout the day I sit down to tweak or add to my painting. I’m going to need a new book soon!
I also absolutely adore this sketchbook! Have you tried the smaller version? I started carrying it with me. It is the best.
When I fill this and go for another, I’ll have to get the smaller one too. Thx!
Beautiful paintings and drawings! Love the little pansy/viola the best. I’ll have to keep an eye out for this sketchbook!
Thank you! 🙂 I got mine at Michael’s.
Isn’t sketchbook journaling so thrilling? I’ve been getting into it a lot more recently, and I just find it so relaxing and exciting at the same time. 🙂 I’m going to have to try this sketchbook! I’m always on the lookout for more options.
I know, I love that there is no pressure when creating in the sketchbook. 🙂
Just what Gail and I need to see for inspiration Eileen. We both got identical watercolor journals, lovely, white, pristine. Problem is, too pristine. We both keep looking at them and feel a bit intimidated. We need to add a stroke of color or something, anything, and we will be on our way. Cracks me up as we both thought the same thing.
Ha ha! I know what you mean. For me seeing the rings of the binding takes the pressure off. When I took the hand lettering e-course the first thing the instructor did was make a mark on the page to take the pressure off. So we didn’t feel like we had to be perfect. I totally agree with that feeling!
